Description
The Betta splendens, commonly known as the Siamese Fighting Fish, is a popular freshwater fish known for its vibrant colors and flowing fins. While beautiful, males are highly territorial and should generally be housed alone or with carefully selected, peaceful tankmates. They are labyrinth fish, meaning they can breathe atmospheric air.
