Description
The Alligator Gar is a prehistoric-looking, large predatory fish native to North America. Known for its elongated body, armored scales, and distinctive alligator-like snout filled with sharp teeth, it is one of the largest freshwater fish in North America. Due to its immense size and predatory nature, it requires an extremely large and specialized aquarium setup, making it unsuitable for most home aquarists.
