Description

The Dusky Betta, Betta fusca, is a wild Betta species characterized by its robust body and muted brown coloration. Unlike the more common Siamese Fighting Fish, this species is a paternal mouthbrooder, with the male incubating the eggs. They thrive in soft, acidic blackwater environments typical of their Southeast Asian origins.
