Alligator Gars are ancient, predatory fish known for their immense size and distinctive alligator-like snout. Native to the southeastern United States and Mexico, they inhabit large rivers and brackish estuaries. Due to their extreme size and specialized care, they are only suitable for expert aquarists with public aquarium-sized setups.
