Description

The Yellowbanded Wirrah is a predatory marine fish characterized by its distinctive dark bands and spots. As a member of the soapfish family, it can release a toxic slime (grammistin) when stressed, which can be harmful to other tank inhabitants. This species requires a very large, well-established saltwater aquarium with ample hiding spots.
