Description
The Yellow Goosefish, also known as Monkfish or American Angler, is a large, bottom-dwelling marine predator. It uses its camouflaged, flattened body and a modified dorsal fin spine (illicium) as a lure to attract prey. These fish are rarely kept in home aquariums due to their immense size and specialized care requirements, typically found only in public aquariums.
