The Victoria Labeo is a large, torpedo-shaped cyprinid native to the Lake Victoria basin. Primarily an herbivore, it grazes on algae and detritus, but will also consume small invertebrates. While juveniles are generally peaceful, adults can become territorial and semi-aggressive, especially towards conspecifics or similar-looking fish.
