Description

The Speckled Worm Eel, often found in tropical and subtropical waters, is a slender, burrowing eel-like fish that inhabits sandy and muddy bottoms, including seagrass beds. It is typically pale or yellowish-white, often with small dark spots, and spends much of its day buried in the substrate. These nocturnal predators feed on small crustaceans, worms, and tiny fish.
