The Trichonis Blenny is a unique freshwater blenny endemic to Lake Trichonis in Greece. It exhibits a mottled brown and tan coloration, often with distinct dark spots and stripes, and males develop a prominent crest on their heads. These bottom-dwelling fish are known for their perching behavior and can be territorial towards conspecifics or similar bottom-dwellers.
