Description
The Threespot Damselfish is a hardy and territorial marine fish, typically dark-bodied with iridescent blue or purple spots, and characteristic black spots at the base of the pectoral fin and upper caudal peduncle. Juveniles may exhibit a yellow belly. This species is a popular but often aggressive addition to saltwater aquariums.
