Description
The Threadfin Goby (*Sicydium punctatum*) is a unique freshwater goby adapted to fast-flowing, oxygen-rich streams. It has a streamlined body, large pectoral fins for clinging to rocks, and typically displays a muted blue-green to grey coloration with a darker lateral stripe. These gobies are primarily herbivorous, grazing on biofilm and algae.
