Description
The Strawberry Darter is a small, vibrantly colored freshwater fish endemic to the Strawberry River system in Arkansas. Males display striking orange and turquoise vertical bars, especially during breeding. They are bottom-dwelling insectivores requiring clean, well-oxygenated water with good flow.
