Description

The Spotted Snake Eel is a nocturnal, burrowing eel found in sandy areas of the Indo-Pacific. It is characterized by its distinctive spotted and banded pattern and spends much of its day buried in the substrate, emerging to hunt at night. This predatory eel requires a deep sand bed and a large aquarium.
