Description
The Spotted Flathead is a master of camouflage, an ambush predator found in sandy and muddy bottoms of the Indo-Pacific. Its flattened body and mottled coloration allow it to blend seamlessly with the substrate, waiting for unsuspecting prey. This large, predatory fish requires a very spacious marine aquarium with plenty of open sand for burying.
