Description
The Spiny Hairtail is an elongated, ribbon-like marine fish characterized by its silvery body, large eyes, and a mouth full of sharp, fang-like teeth. This predatory species inhabits coastal and estuarine waters across the Indo-Pacific. Due to its large size, specialized diet, and predatory nature, it is not suitable for typical home aquariums and is rarely seen in captivity outside of large public aquariums.
