Description
The Southern Codling is a marine fish native to the temperate waters of southern Australia and New Zealand, typically found in rocky reefs and caves. This nocturnal predator feeds on crustaceans, mollusks, and small fish, characterized by its elongated body and a prominent chin barbel. Due to its size and predatory nature, it requires a large, specialized marine aquarium with appropriate tankmates.
