Description

The Slender Shovelnose Catfish is a large, predatory South American catfish characterized by its elongated, flattened snout. It is a nocturnal hunter that requires a very spacious aquarium with plenty of hiding spots and open swimming areas. While generally peaceful with fish too large to be eaten, it will consume smaller tankmates.
