Description

The Six-banded Hillstream Loach is a small, flattened fish adapted to fast-flowing, oxygen-rich streams, using its modified fins and mouth to cling to rocks. It exhibits a mottled brown and tan coloration with six distinct dark bands along its body, providing excellent camouflage. This species thrives in aquariums that mimic its natural habitat with strong current and ample aeration.
