Description
The Shortraker Rockfish is a large, long-lived deep-sea species found in the North Pacific. Characterized by its reddish-orange coloration and large eyes, this predatory fish inhabits rocky bottoms and soft substrates at depths often exceeding 1,000 feet. Due to its extreme habitat requirements, it is not suitable for home aquariums and is rarely seen even in public aquariums.
