Description
The Senegalese Sole is a commercially important flatfish found in the Eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea. It is a benthic species, camouflaging itself on sandy or muddy bottoms where it preys on small invertebrates. Its flattened body and eyes on one side are characteristic of soles.
