Description

Smalltooth Sawfish are critically endangered elasmobranchs known for their distinctive long, toothed rostrum. They are euryhaline, inhabiting coastal marine, estuarine, and freshwater environments, where they prey on fish and crustaceans. Due to their immense size and protected status, they are unsuitable for private aquariums and are only found in specialized public aquarium exhibits.
