Description

The Sao Tome reef bass (*Liopropoma africanum*) is a small, secretive basslet native to the Eastern Atlantic. It displays attractive reddish-brown banding and prefers to hide among rocky crevices and caves. While generally peaceful towards larger tankmates, it is a carnivore that will prey on small crustaceans and very small fish.
