Description
The Sand Dab, or Common Dab, is a right-eyed flatfish native to the North Atlantic Ocean. It is a master of camouflage, blending seamlessly with sandy or gravelly seabeds to ambush its prey. This predatory bottom-dweller feeds on a variety of invertebrates and small fish, making it a challenging but rewarding species for advanced coldwater marine aquarists.
