Description
The Rosy Barb is a popular and hardy freshwater fish known for its vibrant rosy-red coloration, especially in males, and active schooling behavior. They are generally peaceful but can be fin-nippers if not kept in a sufficiently large group or with very slow-moving, long-finned tankmates. This species is an excellent choice for beginner aquarists due to its adaptability and robust nature.
