Description
The Rhinogobius lentiginis is a small, attractive freshwater goby characterized by its speckled body and often vibrant red markings on the head. Native to clear, fast-flowing streams in East Asia, it is a bottom-dwelling fish that requires excellent water quality and a diet rich in small invertebrates. While generally peaceful towards other species, males can exhibit territorial behavior, especially towards conspecifics.
