The Redlips Darter (*Etheostoma tallapoosae*) is a small, bottom-dwelling freshwater fish native to the Tallapoosa River system in the southeastern United States. It is characterized by its mottled brown coloration, horizontal stripes, and often reddish coloration on the lips, especially in breeding males. This species requires clean, oxygenated water and a substrate of sand and gravel.
