Description
The Red-patched Grunter is a large, predatory marine fish found in the Indo-West Pacific, often in coastal and estuarine environments. Known for the grunting sound it produces, this species has a silvery body and can grow up to 24 inches, requiring a very large aquarium. It is a carnivore, feeding on crustaceans and smaller fish, and is best kept with other robust, similarly sized tankmates.
