Description
The Red-eyed Characin is an active, schooling African tetra known for its iridescent scales and distinctive red eyes. They are generally peaceful but can be fin-nippers if not kept in a sufficiently large school or with appropriate tankmates. This species thrives in a well-planted aquarium with open swimming areas.
