Description

The Pinima Oscar is a large, intelligent cichlid native to the Amazon Basin, closely related to the more common Oscar (Astronotus ocellatus). They are known for their engaging personalities and can grow quite large, requiring a spacious aquarium. While generally semi-aggressive, they can be territorial, especially during breeding.
