Description
The Permit is a large, silvery marine fish characterized by its deep, compressed body and long, sickle-shaped dorsal and anal fins. Native to the Western Atlantic, it is a highly sought-after game fish and requires an extremely large, specialized aquarium setup due to its immense size and active swimming habits. They are primarily bottom feeders, preying on crabs, shrimp, and other benthic invertebrates.
