Description
The Peacock Eel is an elongated, nocturnal fish characterized by its pointed snout and distinctive ocelli (eye spots) near its caudal fin. It is a burrowing species that prefers soft substrate and ample hiding places. While generally peaceful, it will prey on very small fish that can fit into its mouth.
