Description
The Patagonian Seabass, or Patagonian Rockcod, is a large, predatory marine fish found in the temperate waters off the coast of Patagonia. It is characterized by its robust body, large mouth, and distinctive dark vertical bars over a lighter, mottled background. This species is a bottom-dweller, ambushing smaller fish and crustaceans among rocky reefs and kelp beds.
