Description
The Pacific Argentine is a slender, silvery deep-sea fish with large eyes, inhabiting soft bottoms of the Eastern Pacific Ocean. They are schooling fish found at considerable depths, feeding on zooplankton and small invertebrates. Due to their specialized deep-water requirements, they are not suitable for typical home aquariums.
