The Orange Eelpout is a slender, eel-like marine fish characterized by its vibrant orange to reddish-orange coloration. This benthic species inhabits the cold, deep waters of the Arctic and North Atlantic, where it preys on small invertebrates and crustaceans. Due to its extreme cold-water habitat requirements, it is an exceptionally challenging species to maintain in a home aquarium.
