Description

The Okinawa Sergeant is a hardy and active damselfish found throughout the Indo-Pacific, easily recognized by its five prominent black vertical bands on a yellowish-white body. While juveniles are often peaceful, adults can become territorial, especially when breeding. They are a common sight on coral reefs and rocky shores.
