Description

The Ocellate Butterflyfish is a beautiful saltwater species characterized by its white body with several vertical brown-orange bands and a prominent black spot (ocellus) on its dorsal fin base. It requires a mature aquarium with stable water parameters and plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding. This species is not considered reef-safe as it will nip at corals and sessile invertebrates.
