Description
The Ocean Sunfish, or Mola mola, is the heaviest known bony fish in the world, characterized by its flattened, disc-like body and lack of a caudal fin. They are pelagic fish found in temperate and tropical oceans globally, often seen basking near the surface. Due to their immense size and specialized needs, they are exclusively found in very large public aquariums, not suitable for home aquariums.
