Description
The Obscure Damsel is a hardy and relatively small damselfish known for its generally dark, often brownish-grey body and a prominent black spot at the base of the posterior dorsal fin. It is a common inhabitant of coral reefs in the Indo-Pacific, typically found in shallow lagoons and outer reef slopes. While generally robust, it can be territorial and semi-aggressive, especially towards smaller or more docile tankmates.
