Description
The Mud Sunfish is a temperate freshwater fish native to the Atlantic coastal plain of North America. It prefers slow-moving, heavily vegetated waters and has a mottled brown coloration for camouflage. While generally peaceful, it can be territorial, especially towards conspecifics.
