Description

The Midas Cichlid is a large and robust freshwater fish known for its vibrant orange, red, or white coloration and often a prominent nuchal hump in mature males. Native to Central America, they are highly intelligent but also very aggressive, requiring a spacious aquarium with durable decor. They are best kept alone or with a carefully selected, equally robust tankmate.
