Description
The Midas Cichlid is a large, robust Central American cichlid known for its vibrant orange, red, or yellow coloration and the prominent nuchal hump that often develops on mature males. They are highly intelligent and can be very interactive with their owners, but are also notoriously aggressive and territorial. This species requires a spacious aquarium with strong filtration and durable decor.
