Description
The Malabar Labeo is a large, active freshwater fish native to rivers and streams of India and Sri Lanka. Known for its torpedo-shaped body and often a dark spot at the base of its caudal fin, it is primarily herbivorous but will accept a varied diet. This species requires a very large aquarium due to its adult size and can be territorial, especially with similar-looking fish.
