Description
The Magnum Pleco is a striking Loricariid known for its dark body and vibrant orange or yellow fin seams. Originating from the Rio Xingu in Brazil, it is an aufwuchs grazer that requires warm, highly oxygenated water and a diet rich in plant matter with some protein. While generally peaceful with most fish, it can be territorial towards other bottom-dwelling plecos.
