Description

The Magnum Pleco (L047) is a robust and attractive freshwater catfish, recognized by its dark body and distinctive orange or yellow fin margins. Hailing from the Rio Xingu in Brazil, it requires a well-oxygenated aquarium with ample hiding spots and surfaces for grazing on biofilm. While generally peaceful with most fish, it can be territorial towards other bottom-dwellers and conspecifics.
