Description

The Magnum Orangeseam Pleco, or L047, is a striking armored catfish native to the warm, highly oxygenated waters of the Rio Xingu in Brazil. Known for its dark body adorned with vibrant orange or yellow fin seams, this species is a primarily herbivorous omnivore that grazes on aufwuchs. It requires excellent water quality, strong filtration, and plenty of hiding spots to thrive in an aquarium.
