Description
The Lookdown is a distinctive saltwater fish characterized by its extremely compressed, disc-shaped body and a steeply sloped head. Its silvery, iridescent scales give it a beautiful sheen, and juveniles often display long, flowing dorsal and anal fin rays. This active species is found in coastal waters of the Western Atlantic, often schooling in open water.
