Description
The Longsnout Flathead is a camouflaged marine ambush predator with a flattened body and prominent, often spiny eyes. It buries itself in sandy or silty substrates, waiting for unsuspecting prey to pass by. This species requires a large, mature saltwater aquarium with plenty of open sand for burying.
