Description
The Longsnout Butterflyfish is easily recognized by its elongated snout, which it uses to probe for small invertebrates in rock crevices. Its body is typically bright yellow with a black dorsal fin and often a dark mask over its eyes. This species requires a mature, large saltwater aquarium with plenty of live rock for foraging.
