Lefua costata, commonly known as the Amur Stone Loach, is a slender, bottom-dwelling freshwater fish native to East Asia. It is characterized by a dark lateral stripe along its body and barbels around its mouth, which it uses to forage in the substrate. This peaceful and hardy species is often shy, preferring to bury itself in fine sand or gravel.
