Description
Knightia eocaena is an extinct genus of freshwater fish from the Eocene epoch, famously found in the Green River Formation of Wyoming. It was a small, schooling fish, resembling modern herrings, and is one of the most common fossil fish. As an extinct species, it is not kept in aquariums.
